The female choir wants to give expats a warm welcome.
The female choir is a chamber choir of various ages conducted by conductor and singer Patricia Smulders. Expats from the Eindhoven / Veldhoven region are very welcome to come and sing with us! We love to sing exiting and challenging music.
Our concert is planned in the June and the winter of 2026, so still enough time to join!

Do you want to become one of us?
Do you have (had) some choir experience and maybe singing lessons? For this repertoire we need to expand to 16 women.
For new members there is a trial period. Attention is paid to vocal quality (and whether it matches the current choir sound) and to your choir experience.
Willingness to study your part at home is a requirement.
Division into voice groups will be based on timbre, range and flexibility of the indivually singers and on sound quality within the voice group.
The choir is split in: high-sopranos, 2nd sopranos, mezzo-soprano, high alto and low alto. Willingness to switch parts for the sake of balance and a beautiful sound is a requirement.
Who we are
The Female Choir is a chamber choir of enthusiastic women of all ages who all enjoy singing polyphonic pieces and work on their voice and skills within the repertoire. We integrate ensemble singing, vocal training, musicality, and conclude with a concert.
Rehearsals the Female Choir 2024/2025
Rehearsals are weekly on friday afternoon
3:30 pm to 5:30 pm (15:30h -17:15h)
On school holidays there are no rehearsals
Location is in Neunen-Eeneind (near Eindhoven).
The participation contribution will be € 227,- for 2026.
Every year there will be a concert (but maybe more).
Rehearsals will be in English if necessary.

We are especially looking for young woman who are a high-soprano and a alto. This is an example of the kind of music we sing. Like it? Join us!
